I am a bride who is getting married in the spring, and I have always done the elegant, classy and yes, fun things with our wedding! I am not one to always pick something off of pinterest, and think there the most simple touches add the most with invites. I had ivory paper, with black letterpress for our invites and wanted to have the envelopes match. I looked online and found Kim.
Let me just say, she not only is THE FASTEST responder ever, which is such a blessing when trying to figure out wedding plans, but she is excited to be working with brides! I was so happy to work with her, and she made me that much more excited to send out our invites!
I had to have a quick turnaround, given that I made the decision last minute to have calligraphy done, and she made sure they were done in a timely fashion. They were PERFECT. The font matched our invites wonderfully. My dad, who is a typical guys guy, looked at them and said WOW I LOVE THEM! I couldn't be happier about our envelopes. They are gorgeous.
Kim was a blessing and added touches to our wedding that couldn't come from anywhere else. I am so happy I ended up meeting her, and truly want everyone in the area to know how wonderful she is!!!

After a change of heart, we decided to use a calligrapher and it was one of the best decisions we made. We found Kim on the Internet and chose her because of her outstanding reviews and beautiful samples and have no regrets. Kim’s replies were always quick and friendly, not automated. My daughter and I had the opportunity to meet with Kim and she made us feel very welcomed and gave us all the time we needed. She showed us samples of her work and she knew exactly what we were looking for. She was very thorough in all aspects of the job and even caught a mistake on our address list. She’s no doubt a perfectionist! On top of all that, our cost was less than originally quoted after she saw the envelopes she was going to work with. Imagine, in this day and age, someone charging less than quoted!

We found The Constant Scribe on The Knot website. We emailed Kim (and others) for pricing and samples. We liked what she had to offer. However, what we got was far better than we ever imagined. Kim had all of the envelopes, both outside and inside addressed faster than we expected. I can't express how beautiful the envelopes turned out. A friend of mine told me she was going to save the envelopes because of how beautiful they turned out.

Of all the wedding vendors I dealt with Kim from The Constant Scribe was by far the best. Not only is she incredibly talented at the work she does, she is genuine, kind and honest, which in my experience where qualities hard to come by in the wedding industry.
Kim listened to the style and look I was going for and helped me bring my ideas into reality and exceeded my expectations. Her work is beautiful and I am so grateful I found her.
Working with Kim was so easy as she is diligent in responding to her clients. The thing I really loved about working with her is she asked me how I prefer to be contacted, phone, email or text. Email is easier for me since I work a lot but always have my phone with me, so it was easy for us to go back and forth on ideas.
Once we finalized the style we were going to use Kim went straight to work and before I knew it she was emailing me to tell me my invitations were ready. Another great quality about working with Kim was her quick turn around time.

I used a really ornate font for my letterpress invitations, & I was hoping to have something similar for the envelopes. A day after sending Kim a sample of the font she sent me back 2 different examples of how she could address the envelopes using the same font. Her work was amazing, she kept me up to date on the whole process, and even caught a mistake I had made with a zip code. She had all 70 of my invitations addressed in record time, and they were carefully packaged for pickup. I was hesitant about using a calligrapher at first. We weren’t having a formal wedding, so I could have addressed the envelopes myself. However, it was the best money we spent! Kim was so pleasant and easy to work with and responded very quickly to emails (major brownie points in my book). I was referred to Kim by the Water Tower-Chicago store. From the moment we spoke I loved her! She was exceptional at communicating and wanted very much to understand exactly what I wanted. She sent me many samples and we were able to work together on ideas. She is so creative and gifted and she helped guide me on making decisions that were perfect!
